Reverse Mortgage Spokesman Fred Thompson Speaks Before Hundreds of American Advisors Group Employees

Senator Fred Thompson, spokesman for national reverse mortgage lender American Advisors Group, spoke before hundreds of AAG employees about his storied career and his personal experience with reverse mortgages.

Senator Fred Thompson, spokesman for national reverse mortgage lender American Advisors Group (AAG), visited Orange, Calif. to speak before hundreds of AAG employees. Senator Thompson, who was in the area to film a new reverse mortgage commercial for the company, gave a talk with CEO Reza Jahangiri in a room packed with AAG staff. During the hour-long conversation, Senator Thompson spoke about his early career as a lawyer and his role investigating the Nixon tapes as part of the Senate Watergate Committee. He went on to explain his unexpected entry into the movie business and his varied political career, including his run for the presidency in 2008.

Senator Thompson also spoke to the group about his introduction to the reverse mortgage product and the importance he places on his role as a spokesman for the company. The former senator, who gained first-hand experience with the product when his mother took out a reverse mortgage of her own, told the room that he believes the product provides a valuable service for an important demographic in this country. Senator Thompson said he was delighted to meet the dedicated professionals who work every day to help seniors stay in their homes. “It was a wonderful experience to meet the AAG team and to talk with them about the service they provide,” he said. “I am honored to represent their company and help educate the public about the important service they provide.”
