(ORANGE, CA, June 4, 2014) – American Advisors Group (AAG), a leader in the reverse mortgage industry, today announced its donation to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., a Maryland-based charity. The donation will support housing for veterans and their families and comes on the heels of a record-breaking month for AAG’s reverse mortgage loan volumes.
AAG has a long history of charitable endeavors, particularly through their corporate giving program, AAGives Back. The program’s anchor charity – the Kwagala Project – provides a support system for victims of human trafficking in Africa. AAG’s donation to Fisher House underscores the company’s commitment to serve the community and promote the importance of giving back.
“The Fisher House charity has been on our radar for some time as a worthy organization to support. The Foundation’s mission of providing a home for our nation’s veterans aligns well with our housing goals,” stated AAG President Reza Jahangiri. “We share the same charge. Just as AAG seeks to keep seniors in their homes, Fisher House aims to put a roof over the heads of veterans in need.”
Fisher House Foundation received the donation during the last week of May 2014. The charity anticipates the funds will help a substantial number of veterans and their families.
